Resources
Resources are content and applications made available to students during an exam.
Web resources
Web resources are URLs (documents, videos, web pages) made available during an
exam. They are linked to exams via the ExamResource model.
- Go to Administration → Resources → Web resources → Add
- Fill in the Name and the URL
- Optionally set an allowed domain/pattern
- Save
During the exam students can open the URL from the resource list. With URL filtering enabled, the resource URL is also auto-added as an SEB allow rule.
Remote app providers
A remote app provider streams a desktop application (Office, SPSS, …) to the student during an exam via an allocated streaming seat.
- Go to Administration → Resources → Remote app providers → Add
- Fill in the Name and the streaming connection details
- Save
For remote apps, SES can pre-warm seats before the exam starts:

Seat count = ceil(required_seats × readiness_threshold / 100). Lead time is
batched by seat count and clamped to 1–120 minutes. Deadline = exam start − lead
time.
Remote seats
Remote seats manage the streaming seat pool used by remote app resources. A seat is allocated to a student session when an exam needs it.
