Navigator colours

Answering questions
| Question type | How to answer |
|---|---|
| Multiple Choice (MC) | Select one option with a radio button |
| Multiple Response (MR) | Click more than one option (more than one may be correct) |
| Numerical | Type a number into the input field |
| Essay / free text | Write your answer in the text area |
| Fill in the blank (FIB) | Type answers into the blanks inside the question text |
| Matching | Use the dropdowns to pair left with right elements |
| Ordering | Drag-and-drop elements into order, or select two and swap |
| Hotspot (image) | Click to place markers on the right spots of the image |
| Code / programming | Type code in the editor (Tab inserts 4 spaces) |
Navigation
| Action | What it does |

| Save & next | Saves and goes to the next question |
| Back | Saves and goes to the previous question |
| Navigator click | Saves and jumps to any question |
| Flag | Marks the current question for review |
Everything is saved
Answers auto-save every 30 seconds, so you can safely navigate freely.
Timer
- Shows remaining time when a time limit is set
- Normal: white text
- 5 minutes left: orange text
- 1 minute left: red text
Submitting
- Click Submit when you are done (or submit from the navigator)
- The exam submits automatically at time-up
- After submission you can no longer change answers
Focus loss
- Leaving the exam window or switching tabs is recorded as a focus loss
- Excessive focus losses may be reviewed by your teacher
- The exam does not auto-submit on focus loss

Keep the exam window focused. Repeated focus losses can affect your integrity record.
